I can not open the E-WMS settings screens

Problem

When clicking "E-WMS General" ("PI General") in System, General, Settings nothing happens. The standard Globe settings screen 'Company data settings' still shows. 

Cause

Whether settings screens are shown or not, depends on a specific component of E-WMS (OCX file) which has to be copied to your workstation during Globe workstation setup, and registered after that. It is likely that the registration of the OCX file did not succeed, or the version is not correct. 

Solution

You can run the Globe workstation setup again. To force a new workstation setup, you can either run 'wsetup.exe' manually from the Globe shared network folder, or the file 'wsetup.ini' in that folder can be changed with a higher timestamp - but that will force a new workstation setup on all clients.

If that does not solve the problem, uninstall Globe on your workstation completely (through the Windows control panel) and rename or delete the Globe program files folder (default: C:\Program Files\Exact software or C:\Program Files (x86)\Exact software) after that. Then run the Globe workstation setup again by starting 'wsetup.exe' from the Globe network share.
